I made this cake for Squires Kitchen's
Cakes and Sugarcraft magazine last year.
I adore Cath Kidston's pretty floral prints and
charming vintage style.
The idea for this cake came from a pretty
Cath Kidston stripy mug.
Once you have made the flowers,
the rest of the cake is quite easy.
It´s a perfect wedding cake! Congratulations!

ReplyDeleteI am so pleased I found this. I was given a picture of this cake and asked to make it for a wedding this year and have emailed Squires and they are going to send me a copy of your tutorial. That is fab customer service. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! What tool did you use to cut the top flat pink fondant with flower cut outs?
ReplyDeleteHi! I am sorry for the late reply!
DeleteThat is Jem's small doily frill cutter.
